Service Technician
Ropes Park Equipment creates and distributes a variety of safety equipment specifically for the ropes course industry to provide the safest climbing experience in the world. Our equipment supports open-air experiences where people can connect with the great outdoors and each other by engaging in activities that are fun, challenging, confidence building, and help promote good health. We also develope and support innovative equipment for the challenge course industry including LockD Clips, an integrated carabiner system for the adventure recreation industry.
The purpose of this role is to inspect & service equipment as well as fulfill equipment orders for aerial adventure customers.
Responsibilities
- Inspection and repair of safety equipment
- Fulfillment of customer orders
- Receiving in-bound packages of new merchandise as well as customer service shipments
- Logging new repair requests into the system
- Completion of paperwork for equipment servicing
- Packaging and shipping serviced equipment and orders to customers
- Inventory monitoring of service parts, merchandise stock, and general supplies
- Working with team members to assign workload and provide guidance
Qualifications
- Experience servicing devices with small parts preferred
- Knowledge of products used in Ropes Course Industry helpful
- Must be able to effectively use small hand tools such as hammer, screwdriver, wrench, and pliers.
- Must be proficient at using basic computer applications like email and spreadsheets
- Must be a quick and independent learner
- Able to effectively multi-task
- Strong attention to detail
- Effective verbal and written communications skills
Physical Demands and Work Environment
Employee will frequently sit at a desk and work in a warehouse/service center environment. Occasional standing and walking are required. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and move up to 100 pounds a few times per day.
Pay Range
While the exact pay offered reflects a candidate's qualifications and experience, this role is paid at a rate between $18 and $23 per hour.
